This adventure features Little Ocmulgee Lake and displays beautiful longleaf pine and Coastal Plain sand-hill habitats. There is a variety of wildlife in this area that includes gopher tortoises, armadillo, raccoons, white-tailed deer, indigo snakes and a diversity of birds. Vultures spend winters here, roosting in the trees by the lake. The various habitats here display stands of longleaf pines decorated in Spanish moss, insectivorous pitcher plant, dwarfed scrubby oak, and wiregrass. Be aware that there is a parking fee.
